The website Akiba Souken released new images from the CGI film Saint Seiya: Legend of Sanctuary, showing various characters, the Gold Saints, and a meeting with Athena already shown in the trailers.
The film already has its own theme song, called "Hero," which was written by Yoshiki, leader of the world-famous Japanese band X-Japan. The song will be performed by singer Katie Fitzgerald, from the melodic rock band Violet UK (which also features Yoshiki as a member and leader).
The film is scheduled for release in Japanese theaters on June 21, 2014. The feature film will retell the first phase of the classic manga: The Sanctuary Saga. Rumors indicate that the premiere in Brazil may happen simultaneously with the release in Japan.
