In a recent interview with Deadline, Mitchel Berger, Head of Film and Distribution at Crunchyroll, spoke about the future of Solo Leveling. He explained that the anime was a huge success, attracting both old and new fans. However, he made it clear that the production still doesn't have a set date for the announcement of the third season.

However, he reinforced that Crunchyroll intends to keep the franchise alive. "We don't know exactly when, but there will be more content in the future," said Berger, fueling fans' hopes. Rumors of a possible Solo Leveling movie?

Although there is no official confirmation yet, it is speculated that the team is exploring new formats. Inspired by the success of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, there is talk of turning the final arcs of Solo Leveling into films. In fact, many believe that the producers are waiting to see how the film Infinity Castle, from the Demon Slayer franchise, performs before deciding to go down this path.

Furthermore, rumors indicate that the next season might not be released until 2028. The possibility of a film filling the gap between the second and third seasons, offering fans more content while they await the continuation of the story, is not ruled out.

Meanwhile, fans will have to remain patient. As confirmed by executives and producers, Solo Leveling will continue to expand its narrative, whether on television or in theaters.
