franchise That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Kenhas just released a brand new, never-before-seen video for its second film. The new trailer focuses on the frenetic action of Tears of the Azure Sea, highlighting underwater battles.

In the original story, Rimuru and his allies visit a resort ruled by Elmesia after the founding festival; however, the peace ends when the priestess Yura arrives seeking help to save the Kingdom of Cayenne. Thus, the group ventures into the depths of the ocean to stop a conspiracy that threatens to awaken the Water Dragon. Furthermore, the video features the song “Harmonics,” performed by Stereo Dive Foundation and ASH, which sets the frenetic pace of the confrontations.

Studio 8bit retains Yasuhito Kikuchi as director, guaranteeing the visual quality that fans of the series expect. Meanwhile, Crunchyroll has already secured global distribution rights for the film, which premieres in Japan on February 27th. This feature film certainly promises to expand the universe created by Fuse with new elements and plenty of magic.
