The fourth season of the anime That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (Tensei Slime) has had an unexpected change in its Japanese schedule. The episode scheduled for May 1, 2026, was canceled by the NTV network, without a detailed explanation for the change.

Instead of the regular broadcast, the BS11 channel will air a special on May 2nd. The program will feature Miho Okasaki, the voice of Rimuru, as well as host Haruka Mori, revisiting the events of the season so far.

The new season of the anime premiered on April 3, 2026, as part of the Friday Anime Night block. Production remains in the hands of Studio 8-Bit, retaining the main staff and original cast, including Okasaki in the role of the protagonist.
