Reiji Miyajima the author of the manga Kanojo Okarishimasu ( Rent-a-Girlfriend ) , shared one of his early drawings on his official Twitter account.
In the post, Miyajima compares the old drawing with one of his more recent ones of the character Chizuru Mizuhara and adds the hashtag #独学でここまで成長したからお前も頑張れ (I grew up very lonely, so you can too). Artists use this hashtag as a way to support aspiring artists, showing "how bad they used to be too".
In the post he wrote, " Not exactly self-taught! Thanks to the teachings of many teachers who cared for me and the influence of many works, I can draw! "

Reiji Miyajima's manga Kanojo Okarishimasu has been published by Kodansha in Weekly Shonen Magazine since July 2017, currently with 27 volumes. Furthermore, the manga received a spinoff last year, titled Kanojo Hitoshirimasu , focusing on the character Sumi Sakurasawa.
