The official website for the anime Uchuujin MuMu (Me and the Alien MuMu) has revealed a new teaser and promotional visual. The teaser reveals the opening theme song and the premiere of the series' second cour, which will take place on July 2 , 2025.

Author Hiroki Miyashita launched the manga in Shonengahosha 's Young King Ours magazine in 2019. Singer Ako will perform the opening theme song, "MOVE MOVE" . Check out the full teaser below:

Voice cast
Studio OLM is responsible for the anime's production. Tomoya Takahashi (Moon Cosmos the Movie) is the director. Keiichirō Ōchi (Girlfriend, Girlfriend) is in charge of the scripts. Kenji Ōta (Pon no Michi) is designing the characters, and the Kuricorder Quartet is composing the music.

Synopsis of Uchuujin MuMu
The story follows MuMu, an alien who takes the form of a cat and travels to Earth to recover lost knowledge about the advanced technology of his home planet. But in his world, war decimated engineers and intellectuals, leaving his civilization without anyone capable of understanding the developed technologies. To rebuild his knowledge, MuMu decides to study Earth's household appliances, but ends up creating daily chaos in the life of Sakurako Umeyashiki, a young university student who agrees to take him in.
