The original anime Vertex Force has received a new promotional video and confirmed its premiere on Japanese TV for October 3rd. Kazuhiro Takamura , known for Strike Witches and Vividred Operation, is the director of the project and also revealed the main cast and a new promotional illustration.
The main cast brings together Makoto Koichi as Akira, Kaede Hondo as Haruka, Ami Koshimizu as Eleanor Northbrook, Megumi Han as Lala Zudenstein and Rie Takahashi as Yoko Nishina.
Vertex Force blends action, science fiction, and mecha elements into a unique narrative.
Synopsis
The story follows Akira Todo, a young man who lives peacefully with his sister Haruka and his mother, who owns a café. However, the family hides an important secret. Haruka inherited a power called "Engine" from their father, while Akira did not receive this ability, a factor that fuels a strong feeling of inferiority.
The animation is produced by studio SMDE. In addition to directing, Kazuhiro Takamura also designs the characters and supervises the scripts alongside Masashi Suzuki. The main mechanical design is by Kanetake Ebikawa, while the soundtrack is by Nobuaki Nobusawa. According to Takamura, the project brings together everything he loves most in anime: charismatic girls, robots, and lots of action.
Finally, Vertex Force will premiere on October 3rd in Japan.
