The anime Vigilante: My Hero Academia Illegals has had its second season confirmed for January 2026. This news comes along with the reveal of new character designs for key figures: Koichi Haimawari, Pop☆Step , and Knuckle Duster.

The production released official artwork highlighting the evolution of the main trio, reinforcing the anticipation for the continuation of the story. In addition, voice actor Shuichiro Umeda, the voice of Koichi, left a special message:
“I’m excited to see Koichi and his friends again. As Deku’s main story reaches its climax, I hope fans enjoy this spin-off to delve even deeper into the My Hero Academia universe.”
Connection to the final season of My Hero Academia
The premiere of Vigilante season 2 will coincide with the airing of the final season of My Hero Academia, scheduled to begin on October 4, 2025.This way, fans will be able to follow the conclusion of the main saga and, at the same time, explore the inner workings of hero society through this prequel.
