Zelda live-action casts actors for Link and Princess

This Wednesday (16), Nintendo announced the actors for the highly anticipated live-action version of The Legend of Zelda. The release will take place on May 7, 2027.

However, Bo Bragason (IMDB), a 21-year-old British actress, will bring Princess Zelda. She has already shone in productions such as Renegade Nell (Disney+) and The Jetty (BBC One).

Directing the live-action Zelda movie

is at the helm Wes Ballsaga Maze Runner. Additionally, Shigeru Miyamoto, creator of the franchise, is overseeing production in partnership with Avi Arad, producer of Spider-Man and Venom.

The casting puts an end to months of rumors, including the name of Hunter Schafer as Zelda. However, the confirmation of the main cast signals the beginning of a new phase for the film adaptation.

Although the plot and other characters have not been revealed, fans around the world are already speculating about how the kingdom of Hyrule will come to life on the big screen.
