"Digimon Adventure tri," the new series that continues the saga from 1999, has received a new promotional image on its official website. During this update, it was revealed that some of the original Japanese voice cast will be returning.
Furthermore, the website announces that singer Kouji Wada will return to sing the original opening theme, "Butter-Fly," while Ayumi Miyazaki will also return with the song, "Brave Heart.".
Atsuya Uki (Cencoroll, Tsuritama) will handle character designs, Yuuko Kakihara (Lost Property) will serve as the series' script supervisor, and Keitaro Motonaga (Rayearth) will direct.
The premiere will take place in April of this year in Japan.
