For fans of sword anime, Tenkaichi – Nihon Saikyou Bugeisha Ketteisen has just been officially announced for television, promising to take fans of action and history on a thrilling journey through 17th-century Japan.

The work, authored by Nakamaru Yousuke and Azuma Kyoutarou, takes place during the turbulent Sengoku Period, shortly after the death of Oda Nobunaga. However, with the power vacuum left by this legendary leader, a brutal tournament emerges among warriors to decide who will be the next to rule the country. And don't expect symbolic battles: the confrontation is real, bloody, and deadly—only the strongest will survive.

With choreographed battles and a suspenseful plot, Tenkaichi promises to combine historical drama and frenetic action in a high-level fight production. The aim is clear: to show the most intense side of the struggle for power in an era where force spoke louder than diplomacy.

Therefore, Tenkaichi is a Japanese manga written by Yōsuke Nakamaru and illustrated by Kyōtarō Azuma. The series began publication in January 2021 in Kodansha's Young Magazine the 3rd. However, after that magazine ceased publication, the work found a new home in May of the same year, being transferred to Kodansha's Monthly Young Magazine, where it continues its journey full of action, story, and epic battles.
