The anime Love Unseen Beneath the Clear Night Sky ( Tōmei na Yoru ni Kakeru Kimi to, Me ni Mienai Koi wo Shita ) has received a new promotional video and confirmed a premiere date of July 6, 2026. The production adapts the light novel by Nanigashi Shima , with illustrations by raemz, originally published in 2023.

The video also features the ending theme song “Hikari,” performed by Yui Sakurai, a member of the group FRUITS ZIPPER . Additionally, the soundtrack will be composed by Harumi Fuuki, known for her work on films such as Lonely Castle in the Mirror .
The series is directed by Joe Yoshizaki at studio MAKARIA , with scripts by Yuko Kakihara. Character design is by Yoshihiro Sawada and Yuzuki Ishii. The series will also have an accessible version with audio description.

In the dubbing cast we have Miyu Irino plays Kakeru Sorano, while Saori Hayami voices Koharu Fuyutsuki. Completing the team is Konomi Kohara as Yuko Hayase and Yohei Azakami as Ushio Narumi.
Synopsis:
The story, originally published in August 2023, follows an unexpected encounter one April night. Kakeru, an introspective university student, crosses paths with Koharu, a cheerful, bright, and… blind young woman. Koharu lives her university life with determination, participates in clubs, makes friends, and dreams of seeing fireworks—even without sight. Meanwhile, Kakeru realizes that her strength inspires him to keep going. Thus, the novel shows two young people learning to face their own fears and build something genuine.
Love Unseen Beneath the Clear Night Sky is a contemporary romance light novel that explores human relationships and emotional perception. The work also inspired a manga adaptation and a live-action drama that aired in 2024.
