Netflix has revealed a new promotional image for its live-action series, based on anime and manga Yu Yu Hakusho's Yoshihiro Togashi. According to the image, we can see actor Kanata Hongō as Hiei.

Kazutaka Sakamoto is the executive producer of the live-action adaptation. Akira Morii is producing the adaptation at Robot. The Yu Yu Hakusho live-action series is scheduled to premiere in December 2023 on Netflix.
Synopsis:
In short, Yu Yu Hakusho follows the story of Yusuke Urameshi, a delinquent who, in an uncharacteristic act of altruism, is hit by a car and killed while trying to save a little boy by pushing him out of the way.
