The highly anticipated anime Overgeared, titled Tempal: Item no Chikara, revealed its first promotional video and new artwork. The announcements came during Anime Expo 2026, where Crunchyroll also confirmed the series will be streaming internationally.

In addition to the trailer, the production announced new cast members. Saya Fukuzumi will voice the character Euphemina, while Shuntaro Takayama will play Huroi. They join Tatsumaru Tachibana, cast as Grid, and Asami Seto, who will bring the character Yura to life.
Synopsis
The anime Overgeared follows Youngwoo Shin, a debt-ridden young man who finds an unexpected opportunity within the virtual reality game Satisfy. Upon discovering the legacy of a legendary blacksmith, he loses all his levels and must start over from scratch.
The animation is being produced by JCStaff, directed by Ayako Kōno, known for the Sword Art Online Progressive. Kenta Ihara is writing the scripts, while Kenta Ihara will be responsible for the character designs. Finally, the soundtrack for the Overgeared anime will feature compositions by Yoshiaki Fujisawa.
