The long-awaited remake of the anime Rurouni Kenshin ( Samurai X) had a new trailer announced, revealing several characters already known to longtime fans of the work and a release date. According to the video, the series premieres in Japan on July 6th this year.

Directed by Hideyo Yamamoto at animation studio Liden Films (Tokyo Revengers, Yofukashi no Uta), composition by Hideyuki Kurata , character designer by Terumi Nishii and music by Yu Takami .
Synopsis
The story follows the slasher swordsman Kenshin Himura , known as one of the best swordsmen in the country, who is tired of killing so much. However, his past comes back to haunt him and Kenshin will be forced to wield his sword again against old and new enemies that surround him.
Watsuki and his wife, Kaoru Kurosaki , launched the Rurouni Kenshin: Hokkaido Arc manga in Shueisha's Jump SQ in September 2017. However, the manga went on hiatus in December 2017 after Watsuki was accused of possessing child pornography. The work later resumed publication in June only in 2018.
Finally Rurouni Kenshin (Samurai X) has the proposal to readapt the complete manga. What do you think of the new trailer and release date?
