The Jump Festa '24 event, held this Sunday, revealed that the new " Rurouni Kenshin " anime will continue with the "Kyoto Arc" starting in 2024.

The anime will be titled “ Rurouni Kenshin Meiji Kenkaku Romantan: Kyoto Dōran ”. The new season will air again on Fuji TV 's Noitamina .
The new anime aired its 24th and final episode last Friday.
Synopsis
The story follows the ruthless swordsman Kenshin Himura , once known as one of the best swordsmen in the country, who is weary of killing. However, his past returns to haunt him, and Kenshin will be forced to wield his sword once more against old and new enemies surrounding him.
The series is directed by Hideyo Yamamoto at the animation studio Liden Films (Tokyo Revengers, Yofukashi no Uta), with composition by Hideyuki Kurata, character design by Terumi Nishii, and music by Yu Takami.
Watsuki and his wife, Kaoru Kurosaki, then launched the Rurouni Kenshin: Hokkaido Arc manga in Shueisha's Jump SQ magazine in September 2017. Publication resumed in June of 2018.
