The anime adaptation of the manga “ The Witch and the Beast ” ( Majo to Yajū ), by Kōsuke Satake , announced that the anime will release on January 11th through a new trailer released this Monday, along with a poster, six new voice actors and the artists of the opening and ending theme songs.

New voice actors include:
- Miyu Tomita as Helga Velvet
- Rintarou Nishi as the magical sword Ashugan
- Akira Ishida as Matt Cougar
- Kazuhiro Yamaji as the executioner
- Kousei Hirota as Farmas
- Yū Kobayashi as Lowell
Additionally, progressive rock band Soko ni Naru will perform the opening theme song “Soumonka” and Yoshino Nanjō will perform the ending theme song “Hikari no Trill”.
The anime therefore stars Yō Taichi as Guideau and Toshiyuki Morikawa as Ashaf.
Synopsis
It all started with the 17 “Origins”, whose powers were then passed on to individuals who still exist around the world today. A man carrying a coffin and a girl with beast eyes appear in a city. The girl was cursed by a witch and now she is looking for her to undo the curse. Could the witch who appears before them be the hunt they are looking for? And how can the curse be undone? This quest for revenge against an evil witch begins when the beast captures the witch. This magnificent and intense dark fantasy tale begins now!
Finally, as previously announced, Takayuki Hamana (Sorcerous Stabber Orphen) is directing the anime at Yokohama Animation Lab. Hiroya Iijima (Afro Samurai) is designing the characters.
